Blind Glasses
Blind Glass is an integrated glazing solution where a blind system is placed inside an insulating glass unit (IGU). By enclosing the blind within the sealed cavity, it provides long-term visual comfort and solar control while keeping the system protected from dust, moisture, and physical wear.

Benefits
Clean & protected system: The blind stays inside the sealed unit—protected from dust, dirt, humidity, and corrosion.
Low maintenance: No cleaning of the blind surface is required; reduced operational upkeep.
Visual comfort & privacy: Enables glare control and privacy on demand while maintaining daylight when needed.
Energy efficiency support: Helps reduce solar heat gain in summer and can improve overall comfort when combined with high-performance Low-E / Solar Low-E coatings.
Aesthetic integration: Delivers a minimal, premium look with no exposed mechanisms—ideal for modern façades and interiors.
Durability: Protected operation improves lifespan and consistent performance compared to exposed blind systems.
Application Areas
Office façades and meeting rooms
Hospitals, laboratories, and clean environments
Hotels and residential projects requiring privacy control
Schools, public buildings, and control rooms
Options & Configurations
Available in different blind types (e.g., Venetian style) and color alternatives depending on project needs.
Can be specified with manual or motorized control systems (project dependent).
Compatible with double glazing and, where required, triple glazing configurations (project dependent).
Production Notes
Blind Glass is produced as an IGU; therefore, correct specification of glass build-up, cavity thickness, and control mechanism is critical.
For façade applications, performance should be evaluated together with wind load, thermal performance, and solar control targets to ensure the right IGU configuration.
