CURVED GLASS PRODUCTION LINES
Architectural glass is most commonly associated with flat surfaces in façades, partition walls, and a wide range of interior applications.
Architectural glass is most commonly associated with flat surfaces in façades, partition walls, and a wide range of interior applications. However, through bending, glass goes beyond being a purely two-dimensional material—bringing a three-dimensional form to architecture.
Curved glass produced at Ardıç Cam undergoes a tempering-based bending process. Once the glass reaches a temperature near its softening point, it is precisely bent to the required shape and then rapidly cooled. This rapid cooling—tempering—allows the glass to gain new properties both aesthetically and functionally.
Our product range includes curved single and double glazing units made from monolithic glass, available with or without coatings, with thermal insulation or solar control coatings, and in tinted or laminated options. Cylindrically bent glass offers distinctive design possibilities for both architectural and decorative applications.
To expand the application range and enhance the visual impact of curved glass, ceramic frit (screen printing) or digital printing can be applied to the surface. These prints can be produced in standard patterns or developed as fully project-specific designs with high accuracy.
