Accordingly, in order to fulfil our obligation to inform under Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), Ardıç Cam presents the explanations below for the attention of our valued customers, suppliers, and all other relevant persons using our website.

1. What is the legal basis for Ardıç Cam’s collection of personal data?

Personal data of our customers, suppliers, and third parties using our website are collected and processed in compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Türkiye, the KVKK, and other applicable legislation. Personal data of customers who shop via our website are also collected and processed in accordance with the provisions of the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, the Turkish Penal Code, and other relevant legislation.

2. Which methods does Ardıç Cam use to collect personal data?

Your personal data may be processed by Ardıç Cam—depending on the nature of the services, products, or commercial activities—through automatic or non-automatic methods, in compliance with your explicit consent where required and applicable legislation, including where you:

• visit our website (www.ardiccam.com.tr),

• participate in events organized by Ardıç Cam,

• submit a job application,

• visit Ardıç Cam premises,

• contact us via our call center or social media channels.

3. For which purposes does Ardıç Cam use personal data?

Where permitted and to the extent allowed by legislation, Ardıç Cam may record, store, update, disclose to third parties, transfer, classify, and process your personal data.

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

• Verifying the identity information of the person conducting/requesting the transaction,

• Preparing all records and documents that form the basis of transactions in electronic (internet/mobile, etc.) or paper environments,

• Customizing and recommending products and services offered by Ardıç Cam (including Ardıç Cam Sanayi Anonim Şirketi’s domestic/foreign current and/or potential affiliates, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and all their branches and offices) according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs,

• Developing the requested products and services, enabling their supply, or resolving issues related to the services/tools provided,

• Performing and fulfilling sales contracts and distance sales contracts, issuing invoices as required by applicable legislation, and enabling customers to properly exercise their statutory rights (right of withdrawal, optional rights, etc.),

• Creating user profiles for use within Ardıç Cam,

• Delivering purchased goods and/or rewards,

• Evaluating applications in recruitment processes,

• Ensuring the security and supervision of Ardıç Cam facilities,

• Determining and implementing Ardıç Cam’s and the Ardıç Group’s commercial and business strategies,

• Fulfilling our obligations arising from the KVKK and exercising our rights under applicable legislation.

4. How does Ardıç Cam protect your personal data?

In processing personal data, Ardıç Cam observes the following principles:

• Processing in compliance with law and good faith,

• Ensuring accuracy and keeping data up to date where necessary,

• Processing for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes,

• Being relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purpose of processing,

• Retaining data for the period stipulated in relevant legislation or required for the purpose of processing.

In line with these principles, personal data shared with Ardıç Cam are under Ardıç Cam’s supervision and control. As the data controller, Ardıç Cam undertakes responsibility to establish the necessary organization and implement and adapt technical measures to protect the confidentiality and integrity of information as required by applicable legislation. Ardıç Cam processes personal data within the purposes set out in this Privacy and Personal Data Protection Notice and takes all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure data security.

5. Does Ardıç Cam share your personal data?

As a rule, personal data are not transferred to third parties without the explicit consent of our customers. However, due to our legal obligations and limited thereto, personal data may be shared with courts and other public institutions.

In addition, in order to provide the services we commit to and to perform quality control of the services provided, personal data may be transferred to contracted third parties within the limits prescribed by legislation. Your personal data may also be shared—within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK and for the purposes stated in this notice—with:

• program partner institutions/organizations we cooperate with to carry out our activities,

• domestic/foreign persons and institutions from which we receive cloud storage services,

• domestic/foreign organizations we work with for sending commercial electronic messages (where permitted),

• survey companies and other domestic/foreign third parties and business partners within various marketing activities to improve service quality and ensure customer satisfaction.

During transfers to third parties, the measures specified in Section 4 of this Notice are taken to prevent violations of rights. However, Ardıç Cam declares that it is not responsible for violations arising directly from third parties’ data protection policies and risks within areas under the third party’s responsibility.

6. What are your rights under the KVKK?

Pursuant to the KVKK, you have the right to:
a) learn whether your personal data are processed,
b) request information if your personal data have been processed,
c) learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose,
d) know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
e) request correction if your personal data are processed incompletely or inaccurately,
f) request deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
g) request notification of the transactions carried out under (e) and (f) to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,
h) object to a result against you arising solely through analysis by automated systems,
i) request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

If you submit your requests regarding the rights listed above to Ardıç Cam in writing, Ardıç Cam will finalize your request free of charge within 30 (thirty) days at the latest. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, the fee determined by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.

In accordance with Article 13/1 of the KVKK, to exercise your rights you may submit your request to Ardıç Cam in writing or through other methods to be determined by the Personal Data Protection Board in the future. You may submit your request by filling out the form at www.ardiccam.com.tr, by applying in writing to Kumpınar Mahallesi Kumpınar Küme Evleri No: 31/A Kahramankazan / Ankara, or via a notary public.

7. How can I stay informed about changes in personal data legislation?

Your rights under the KVKK also constitute Ardıç Cam’s obligations. We process your personal data with this awareness and to the extent required by legislation. In the event of legal changes, we will update the information on this page in accordance with the new legislation, and you will always be able to easily follow such updates through this page.

8. How can I ensure that my data are kept accurate and up to date?

Pursuant to Article 4 of the KVKK, Ardıç Cam has an obligation to keep your personal data accurate and up to date. Therefore, in order for Ardıç Cam to fulfil its obligations arising from applicable legislation, our customers must share accurate and up-to-date information with Ardıç Cam. If your data change in any way, we kindly ask you to contact us via the communication channels stated above to update your information.
